Tiring day yesterday! I woke up early 'coz I had an appointment with a staff at Selkirk College. I've finally decided to visit the college to have my skills and transcript evaluated. And also to keep away from boredom caused by same old routines done since we moved here. Upon meeting him I showed my transcript. He looked at it thoroughly and I was advised to talk to a Counselor who can assess and give suggestions on what courses to take in case I decide to pursue my studies. I've never really planned out yet so I was overwhelmed of the possible courses to take which are related to my Degree [Biology]. But without considering my transcript, there might be a need for me to take a lot of upgrading requirements. Anyhow, as I was loaded with lots of information about the college's admission requirements and the like, I ended up taking a Math and English proficiency test. I started with Math and by looking at the test paper, it looked so easy. I was wrong. It actually just reminded me of my college years. Struggling over College Algebra, Trigonometry, and Calculus. I was thinking, I've known this stuff before, darn it! I proceeded with the writing test afterwards. I chose the topic 'Journey', which brought me to reminiscence. I also suddenly got inspired when I saw someone entering the room. It was a flirting-with-my-eye moment. And I can't help but grin every time I remember it. Inspired from then on, I received positive feedbacks from the Instructor while he checked on my paper. (= There was even an item which I was the only one who got it right. LOL. [That was one of the easiest, actually] Hmmmmmp!
Anyway, another test to take next week and I keep on asking myself,
Am I ready to go back to school?
