May 6
An Invisible Sign - A loner turned to Math from salvation after her father got ill. As an adult, Mona teaches the subject and must help her students through their own crises. Starred by Jessica Alba, J.K. Simmons, Bailee Madison, and Chris Messina.
Daydream Nation - A story about a city girl who moved to a small town and becomes entangled in a love triangle between her high school teacher and a stoner classmate. Starred by Kat Dennings, Reece Thompson, and Josh Lucas.
Jumping The Broom - Two very different families converge on Martha's vineyard one weekend for a wedding. Starred by Paula Patton, Laz Alonso, and Angela Bassett.
Last Night - The story follows a married couple, apart for a night while the husband takes on a business trip with a colleague to whom he's attracted. While he's resisting temptation, his wife encounters her past love. Starred by Keira Knightley, Sam Worthington, Eva Mendes, and Guillaume Canet.
Something Borrowed - Friendships are tested and secrets come to the surface when terminally single Rachel falls for Dex, her best friend Darcy's fiance. Starred by Kate Hudson, Ginnifer Goodwin, and Colin Egglesfield.
The Beaver - A man tries to get his life, family, and career track with the unlikely help of a beaver hand puppet. Starred by Mel Gibson, Jodie Foster, and Anton Yelchin.
There Be Dragons - Arising out of the horror of the Spanish Civil War, a candidate for canonization is investigated by a journalist who discovers his own estranged father had a deep, dark, and devastating connection to the saint's life. Starred by Charlie Cox, Wes Bentley, Dougray Scott.
Thor - Thor is a pariah of the fantastic realm Asgard and was sent to live amongst humans on Earth, where he soon becomes one of their finest defenders. Starred by Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Hopkins, and Natalie Portman.


May 9
The Silent House - A Uruguayan horror film, shot in one continuous take, a woman must escape a house that hides an obscure secret. Starred by Florencia Colucci, Abel Tripaldi, and Gustavo Alonso.


May 13
Bridesmaids - Picked as her best friend's maid of honor, lovelorn and broke Annie looks to bluff her way through the expensive and bizarre rituals with an oddball group of bridesmaids. Starred by Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, and Rose Byrne.
Priest - A priest disobeys Church law to track down the vampires who kidnapped his niece. Starred by Paul Bettany, Cam Gigandet, and Maggie Q.
True Legend - Starred by Man Cheuk Chiu, Xun Zhou, and Michelle Yeoh.


May 20
Midnight In Paris - A romantic comedy about a family travelling to Paris for business. The party includes a young engage couple forced to confront the illusion that a life different from their own is better. Starred by Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams, Marion Cotillard, and Michael Sheen.
Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tides - Jack Sparrow and Barbossa embark on a quest to find the elusive fountain of youth, only to discover that Blackbeard and his daughter are after it too. Starred by Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz, and Ian McShane.


May 26
Hangover Part II - Phil, Stu, and Alan travel to Bangkok for Stu's wedding only to find themselves in another post-blackout misadventure. Starred by Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, and Ed Helms.
Kung Fu Panda 2 - Po joins forces with a group of new kung-fu masters to take on an old enemy with a deadly new weapon. Starred by Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, and Jackie Chan.


May 27
The Tree Of Life - The story revolves around a family with three boys in the 1950s. The eldest son witnesses the loss of innocence.  Starred by Brad Pitt, Sean Penn, and Jessica Chastain.

Make some noise 'coz it's another NEW song for all of you. This time we will delve into the Rapuniverse as we feature a song from The Beastie Boys. They're back with their latest single 'Make Some Noise' coming from their eighth album Hot Sauce Committee Part Two. Cameos from popular movie personalities like Jack Black, Will Ferrell, Kirsten Dunst, Orlando Bloom, and Elijah Wood, to name a few, are just some of what you are to expect from their music video. GAFFE (noun) - social blunder; a tactless remark, act, etc.

Hockey is a recent favorite sport of mine. Watching last night's match between Vancouver Canucks and Chicago Blackhawks was quite intense. I was reminded of the same feeling I felt from watching FIFA World Cup last year. I was then rooting for Spain and shouting Viva Espana! I was really hooked to the game that it made me stay up until 5 in the morning. It was worth it, though. [Of course, my team WON!] Anyhow, our word of the day is pretty much associated to sports which is why athletes must be cognizant in their actions to avoid it. You wouldn't want a supposed win ruined by a GAFFE. Just like in hockey, a goalie shouldn't let a weak goal in.

It's another song of the day and today we will honor one of our own. The featured song of the day is co-written by Nick Jonas for our Filipino pride Charice Pempengco, who will be releasing her second International album this fall. The song is entitled One Day, which tells us about believing in one's self and not letting them haters drag us down. Check out her new song below and tell us what you think.
